Halloween

Just a warning up front. It's hard to pick the best pics, so you'll get to look at lots of them

Our original choice (Katie's outfit from 2 years ago) It turned out to be too small to add the required layering underneath it, but I thought it looked pretty cute so I decided to share it anyway.
Our little Puppy! Trial run at home and even though this outfit was a little big, we liked it. If you look closely....never mind even if you do you can't even see Maya underneath the puppy face

When Katie found the butterfly wings in a box of dress up clothes, she decided she wanted to be one. With some antenae (or antlers as I kept calling them) and a multi-purpose skirt and her new pink fuzzy sweather I thought she'll make a very pretty butterfly
We were invited for an early supper at a friends house before all the kids got dressed and ready to trick or treat.
Maya waiting outside after she was dressed so she wouldn't overheat.

Our two girls all set and ready to go.
This is probably the only picture where you can actually see Maya's face.
The whole crew. We had Captain Hook, 2 Cowgirls, a magician, a unicorn, a tiger, our butterfly and our puppy.
It wasn't long until Katie got the concept and was excited to go "get more chocolates and candy". The "trick or treat" needed to be coached a bit, but the "thank you" came pretty much without help.
When we got to the end of the road (We've been to maybe 10-15 houses) Katie said "That's enough candy, I want to go home." So it wasn't even 7 by the time we headed back to the mission, but we all had fun and get to have some sweets for the next week or so.
